About Julie Kliegl

Julie works in mental health counseling and is currently an substance use disorder counselor (LADC) at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Center City, MN. She is under supervision for her LPCC. She was formerly a community volunteer in Iowa with Waypoint Services, the Cedar Falls Human Rights Commission, and Cedar Valley Hospice. She has a Master's Degree in Counseling from Hazleden Betty Ford Graduate School.Previously she worked in business as a senior executive with over thirty-five years of experience with organizations as diverse as Viracor Eurofins, Quest Diagnostics, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Boston Heart Diagnostics, and M&M Mars. Her background includes leadership roles in sales, marketing, operations, business development, human resources, communications and public affairs. She has also been a Professor at Wartburg College and Buena Vista University. She holds a doctorate in Organizations and Management from Capella University, an MBA from New York University, and a BA from Coe College.
