About Julie Leeflang

I currently work as a Junior Business Consultant at Young Financials and Young Analytics, where I support both clients and young professionals in finding the right fit — whether in Finance, Risk, Audit, or the world of Data & Analytics. I advise companies on their talent needs and help young professionals take the first step in the financial sector. What I enjoy most is working at the intersection of people, business, and strategy — figuring out what drives someone, what a team really needs, and how we can make that match work. During a MSc in Communication Science (Media Psychology) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, I explored how digital experiences and human behaviour influence each other — knowledge I now apply in understanding people, teams and decision-making in a business context. Before that, I built a strong foundation with a Bachelor in Business Administration (Hotel- and Eventmanagement). During that time, I gained hands-on experience in service-oriented environments, including a six-month internship in Thailand.
