Background
About Julie Matz
When you run into something interesting, drop everything else and study it." B.F. Skinner I am first of all a wife and a mother to three beautiful children. Everyday I am learning from my children and teaching them. We love going on family adventures and discovering new areas. Recently, I became a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). I am so excited to learn more about becoming a Scientist Educator. Currently, I am dropping everything and learning as much as I can about Precision Teaching. I have been in the field of education since I was sixteen. I started out as a para educator over the summers at The Center for Discovery in Harris, NY. I fell in love with teaching and collaborating with other professionals. After high school I went to school to become a teacher. I have been in the field as a special education teacher for 12 years and realize there is still so much to learn! There is still so much to do and learn!
