About Julie Messinger

With well over a decade of leadership experience at TD, I bring a refined set of competencies in enterprise strategy, transformation, customer experience, and innovation. Currently leading Acquisition & Distribution for Direct Investing at TD, my role is centered around optimizing the efficient and creative acquisition of new clients, while fostering client engagement, loyalty and retention through effective relationship management and client education. My commitment to establishing a culture of care, continuous improvement and collaboration means empowering our people to elevate their work and make it easier for customers to do business with us. My skillset is furthered bolstered by more than 8 years of experience leading a variety of functions across the Insurance business, including strategy, transformation, innovation, client experience, ESG, colleague engagement and operations. Finally what has always underpinned my transformation mindset is the 11 years I spent in management consulting, helping a range of multi national organizations redefine their strategic priorities, implement state of the art systems and transform how they operate and are structured. I have always had a strong reputation for getting things done, through effective relationship management with others and by having a keen ability to focus on what matters and cut out the noise. As a leader I’m known for being transparent and authentic, treating all colleagues with respect and ensuring they are always recognized for the great work that they do. In addition, I am actively committed to advancing our diversity and inclusion agenda, with a specific focus on elevating persons with disabilities.
