About Julie Meyer

Teaching history is the means I use to help students become successful contributing members of society. I help students understand our roots through History and how those roots have an impact on us today. Students are always at differing levels of physical, emotional and cognitive developments and my usage of various teaching strategies in the classroom is vital to their success. Through hands-on individualized learning, skill building, and creating an atmosphere of respect, I make sure that the student is the top priority in my classroom. Experience in education has taught me that my value in the classroom boils down to the following- I am an educator who gets the big picture- I connect easily to all sorts of students- Students want to be in my classroom- Parents trust me with their child’s education- Administrators know that I am their ‘go to’ staff member.
