About Julie Mullen

Julie is a highly organized and a detailed-focused individual with an exceptional track record of taking practical care to protect the safety and health of others. As a high performer, she takes pride in time management and strives to excel beyond the standard through empathy and consensus collaboration. Julie graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2022 with a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability and her thesis project was on the development and designation process of Indigenous protected and conserved areas (IPCAs) in Canada. Julie also completed her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan with a major in environmental science and a minor in soil science. She has experience in forest soil analysis, contaminated site management, sampling and lab analysis, land management, reclamation, and assessing environmental impact through environmental site assessments (ESAs). Julie also has over twenty years’ experience providing outstanding customer service and building relationships in a wide range of industries including transportation, heavy equipment operations, security, tourism, and hospitality management. During her years working in the transportation and heavy equipment operations industry, Julie gained valuable experience as a competent subcontractor at numerous reclamation sites in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time outdoors reconnecting with nature, reading, and staying active at the local fitness facilities.
