Background
About Julie Paquette-Moore
As a social entrepreneur with a background in both wellness and business, I’m passionate about designing mindfulness and wellness programs that genuinely support individuals and communities. I lead The Mindful Collaborative, where we partner with schools, businesses, and community organizations to bring mindfulness-based resilience programs to life. Our work focuses on integrating contemplative practices—like meditation, breathwork, mindful movement, and emotional intelligence—into everyday life to promote both personal and collective well-being. With a strong focus on equity and inclusion, all of our programs are trauma-informed and tailored to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. My approach is rooted in what I call a “holistic community model”—working with school leaders, educators, families, and community partners to create shared spaces for learning and support. I believe mindfulness is most impactful when it's experienced together and reinforced across familiar circles, whether among students, teachers, athletes, or caregivers. Through sensory-based practices, meaningful conversation, and mindful movement, I guide people in discovering accessible tools they can carry into their daily routines. My style is grounded, playful, and compassionate—inviting curiosity, connection, and care every step of the way. In addition to my work with The Mindful Collaborative, I’m honored to serve as a faculty member at the Engaged Mindfulness Institute, where we train and support individuals on the path to becoming certified mindfulness teachers.
