I'm an experienced, award-winning reporter and editor, formerly with USA Today and other publications. Now, my journalism, writing and thought leadership skills help companies and executives in technology, architecture and science tell their own stories via articles and books. I hone media strategies, develop thought leadership platforms and execute on deadline. As a ghostwriter, I help you find your voice and medium. As head of content for PR firm, Speakeasy Strategies, I craft bylines, blogs, and media pitches. I analyze media opportunities, media train executives and help companies get the media attention they deserve and want. References and samples of my work are available. As a reporter, I covered numerous industries. My 2011 work on the foreclosure crisis was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. As an editor, I led teams of up to seven reporters and headed up our technology coverage in Silicon Valley. I was a foreign correspondent for three years, stationed in Hong Kong. I write essays, founded a weekly writer's meeting, and am working on a non fiction book. I was thrilled to be selected to join the Squaw Valley Community of Writers for nonfiction. My freelance work has appeared in National Geographic online and other outlets.
