About Julie Watson

I am a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) as well as a Yoga Alliance 500ERYT, Continued Education Provider and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM.) Bridging yoga and healthcare, I teach yoga and movement to help others improve and manage their physical, mental and social well-being. I have dedicated many years to serving those with mental health needs, aches and pains, orthopedic issues, and neurological disorders and conditions. Along with my private practice, for over 5 years I've been part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team at an integrated pain center. From spinal injuries to joint replacements, frozen shoulder to repetitive stress injuries, I work with and teach patients functional movement, exercise, and yoga therapy to better manage their pain and improve their physical function. I also teach group meditation and breathing lectures to help improve sleep and manage mental health. My work combines postures, somatic movement, corrective exercise, self-myofascial release, breath work, meditation, and more. I offer in-person and online programs for individuals, small groups and corporate wellness. I'm located at the Boise Family Therapy Group Wellness Center.
