About Julien Grimault

Graduated from the Arts et Métiers ParisTech (ENSAM). Certified European Designer Passive House (PassivHaus) Certified BREEAM assesor LEED Accredited Professional Currently Country Manager of GreenBuilding in Jakarta, Indonesia, I am in charge for the development of this company to promote sustainable construction and energy savings for Construction and industry. I work with our clients to define the program of their operation, the technical diagnosis of the existing project, the economic study of the project and the drafting of contractual documents. The added value of our offer is the integration of the environmental components strating from the pre-study phase with the customer. I also carry out design activities: Regulatory calculations for energy performance (RT 2012), Dynamic thermal simulations, Design of building systems, Design of passive buildings, environmental studies for certification. I also develop environmental certifications for construction projects: HQE, Greenship, LEED and BREEAM. As such, I am certified BREEAM Assessor by the BRE, and LEED Accredited Professional by the GBCI. This enables me to conduct the whole certification process up to the validation by the certification committee. GreenBuilding Indonesia also develops an Urbanism department. In this context, we are developing the concept of a low-carbon eco-neighborhood for the benefit of the local Ministry of Public Works. Some of our clients in Indonesia: Decathlon Indonesia, Total, Ministry of Public Works, Danone, French Embassy. Formerly a design engineer specializing in building energy efficiency.(Responsible for the pilot project of a positive energy building -bepos))and in charge of a study of technology bechmarking on the houses with positive energy presented during the contest Solar Decathlon Europe 2010.
