About Julien Hans
Member of the Executive Comitee of CSTB since 2024. I am in charge of the definition of the srategy for research and innovation I was involved for couple of years in buildings and districts' environmental performances and the energy performance guaranty for sustainable buildings. Our work was implying the addition and complementarity of various research of experts and scientists; my role was to establish the link between the different topics, the roadmap for our common strategy, and the conditions for the collective success of our research programs. Holder of an “agrégation” (highest teaching degree) of civil engineering since 1998, and former student of “Ecole Normale Supérieure”, I carried out a doctorate in geomechanics on the hydraulic behavior of rock fractures.
