About Julien Radoux
I'm working at the interface between remote sensing and GIS in order to improve our knowledge of our environment through a better description and modelling. I therefore work on the technical and the conceptual issues to improve the integration of images and vector databases. Currently, I am working on the Lifewatch-WB project (http://uclouvain.be/lifewatch) to provide data services for biodiversity researchers within the Lifewatch Infrastructure My other topics of interests include some research on object-based quality assessment methods, global land cover mapping (ESA Land cover CCI project) and operational change detection.
