About Juliet Joseph

I am the Employer Relations Career Services at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), where I have been leading and managing strategic partnerships with employers, alumni, and stakeholders for over 12 years. My role is to enhance the employability and career development of our students and graduates, and to align our programmes and initiatives with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the global trends in higher education and the labour market. With a background in corporate communication, international relations, and development economics, I am passionate about creating and delivering impactful and innovative projects, events, and campaigns that increase the visibility, reputation, and engagement of UJ and its career services, both locally and internationally. I am also a PhD candidate in political science and international relations, with a focus on the role of social media in political communication and participation. I have published multiple articles in various academic journals and media outlets, and I have excellent skills in marketing communications, report writing, and project management.
