About Juliet Wallace

I support Mentors in finding ways to connect with youth via Step Up’s programs, currently located in Austin, Texas. A 2019 graduate of Texas Tech University and a 2022 Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Certificate in Urban Nonprofit Management, I continue to explore career opportunities in government, nonprofit, and private-sector work. Currently, as the Mentor Training and Experience Manager, I support the lifecycle of Step Up's Mentors and how they can connect with teens or young women through mentorship. I collaborate with Programs and Development Teams to streamline the planning and implementation of Mentorship experiences for teens and young adults ages 14-29. With a background in Dance through Texas Ballet Theater under the direction of Ben Stevenson O.B.E, of the Houston Ballet, I understand the intertwined community relationships in nonprofit communities. As a Dance Major, Public Relations Minor and Health Professional Minor at Texas Tech I worked with the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts further gaining knowledge in how to sustainably connect a community of visual and performing artists with the general public. As a previous ambassador of the J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual and Performing Arts I continue to strive in being a bridge for cultural competence in the arts and nonprofit sector.
