About Julieta Day

I am an ARDMS certified, Brazilian trained Radiologist with 20+ years ultrasound experience, based in Port Orange, Florida. My area of expertise includes abdominal exams, including ER exams (e-fast ultrasounds for example), pelvic (gynecological), thyroid, small parts and breast, serving an average of 7200 patients annually, and I have unique expertise with musculoskeletal ultrasounds, as I have been performing this modality since 2006. I was lead ultrasound physician at the main Latin America's reference hospital of Trauma-Orthopaedics and Rheumatological diseases (INTO), in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil from 2012-2019, where I remain a staff doctor on leave.I completed a brief observership in 2014 at UCLA in the Musculoskeletal Radiology Department which was very rewarding. I remain updated via frequent conferences, nowadays mainly virtual ones.I have been reviewing x-rays and computed tomography with Brazil based teleradiology companies since 2012. I am applying for a position of Sonographer but I am open to other technical roles, Clinical Documentation Specialist. I have dedicated a significant amount of hours to my international teleradiology practice but am now prepared to transition to US based work, having my US certification and right to work firmly in place.
