I am a news anchor, on-air reporter, and producer at KVAL, NBC16, and Fox34. I deliver timely and accurate news stories to viewers across Western Oregon, covering various topics, from local events and community issues to national and international affairs.I pitch, shoot, interview, and edit original day-of-air news packages, report live breaking news, and anchor and produce weekend newscasts. In this role, I covered numerous elections. I have also interviewed Oregon political representatives, including Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, Governor Tina Kotek, and Congressional Representative Val Hoyle, numerous times.I have a Master of Arts in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School of Journalism. As a student, I was the political news anchor and producer for the student-led newscast Annenberg TV News, where my work was nominated for an LA Press Award.At Annenberg, I traveled to Washington, D.C, and Virginia to cover politics on the Hill, interviewing former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and writing about several crucial congressional races with Annenberg Media. I also traveled to Manhattan to cover New York Fashion Week.I am always eager to explore new perspectives, challenges, and opportunities in the media industry.
