With extensive experience in construction health and safety, I am a seasoned professional specializing in the coordination and implementation of safety procedures and regulatory compliance. Throughout my career, I have worked across various high-risk industries, including construction, oil and gas, telecommunications, and manufacturing, allowing me to develop a versatile and adaptable skill set that aligns with the dynamic nature of construction sites. Currently, as a Regional Health and Safety Advisor at Ledcor, I oversee health and safety programs across southwestern Ontario, preparing teams for projects in other regions. My responsibilities include ground disturbance protocols, Emergency Response Planning, Job Hazard Assessments, and Safe Work Practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and legislative requirements. Previously, at the Middlesex-London Health Unit, I played a key role in coordinating four large-scale vaccination sites during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols for both staff and the public. I have also served as a Health and Safety Administrator at Maple Leaf Foods and a Health and Safety Coordinator at Paramed Home Care, gaining valuable experience in risk mitigation and compliance in highly regulated environments.
