About Julio Soto

With a Bachelor´s degree in Industrial Engineering, a Master´s degree in Finance and ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt and Quality Manager Certifications I´ve been working in Quality Field for the past 18 years in metal mechanic, electronic, telecommunications and automotive field global organizations in both OEM and CM sides, taking care of different production and administrative process such as foundry, machining, projection welding, sheet metal punching operations, surface mount technology, pin through hole, electromechanical product high level assemblies and direct order fulfillment. As a part of my duties I have been responsible for introducing new products either international transfers or projects from prototype-sketch to mass production, driving improvement and maintenance of metrics goals such as external and internal claims, rolled throughput yields, PPM´s, DPMO´s, RMA´s, IQC, OBA and scrap, taking leadership of 8d, root cause analysis, plant wise scope projects, stop shipments, customer service, supplier chain quality issues, quality system audits as well as engineer entry level, technicians and auditors management, coaching and mentoring.
