My name is Julissa Lundquist, I have dyslexia and I love it. My mom was my greatest support when I was in school and really helped me to work hard and achieve educational goals that most people didn’t think I would be able to reach. I want to help students that are just like me and empower them to feel smart. I think that many students in special education feel like they are "stupid" and have low self-esteem. I want to change that, and help them know their potential. I want to be for my students with disabilities like my mom was for me. I know they have more potential than most people give them, and I want to stand as an example to them that they can do hard things and be successful in life.
