About Julius Berger

Coming from the Capital of the South — Atlanta, GA — I made a significant transition to a small college town to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, following my dream to become a Tar Heel. Now a proud graduate with highest distinction, I earned degrees in both Business Administration (Kenan-Flagler) and Global Studies (Honors Carolina). This dual path reflected my passion for international engagement, economic development, and cross-cultural understanding — all of which continue to drive my personal and professional pursuits. Rooted in a curiosity for foreign cultures and a strong belief in the importance of global cooperation, I’ve gained international experience through travel, coursework, and independent research. I continue to build on this foundation as I begin my career on the Client Engagement Team in Business Development at Latham & Watkins in New York City, where I work to maintain relationships between Latham and its global clients to deepen my understanding of the legal and business frameworks shaping today’s global economy. I’m a highly determined, creative, and collaborative teammate with a strong work ethic, constantly developing my skills through academic, professional, and personal experiences. Outside of work, I enjoy backpacking in foreign countries, collecting sports memorabilia, playing pick-up basketball and soccer, and listening to all kinds of music.
