About Julius Jousi

Hi all! I'm a creative, ambitious and diligent sports marketing, communication & management professional, working full-time as an entrepreneur from spring 2019. My educational background consists of Master's degree in Sports Sciences (social sciences of sports & marketing) and Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (sociology, communication, leadership). My professional interests and capabilities, combined with my life-long sports career in different roles, make me a perfect match especially with sports-related organisations – especially the ambitious ones. That is because I'm really passionate about helping them fulfill their dreams and improve as a whole. To wrap it up: a bold, creative innovator and an executor with versatile toolbox in a compact package. My key strengths are in one way or another linked with the field of marketing and communication. In addition to a sharp strategical and tactical vision, one of the most important assets include versatile interaction skills and an ability to form a genuine understanding of clients' needs and wishes. To go a bit more detailed in the path of skills, I love especially creating different kinds of content – above all by writing. In the field of sports marketing, my favourite subject is the interaction between brand, organizational identity and identification of people around it. For example, I'm really interested in the processes of building a sports brand with a strong identification from its the closest stakeholders. As a human being I would describe myself as a humble, kind and easy-going person, who is still not afraid of being confident or dreaming big. In everything that I do, I have an enormous will to always turn potential into reality. However, I'm aware of the fact that without a genuine desire and hard work nothing big can't ever be achieved. Generally in life, I get my enjoyment from a wide scale of things, but mostly from really basic ones; such as live sports both on and off the field, quality music and food, the famous combination of Finnish lake and a wood-heated sauna – and of course hanging around with my most important persons. To conclude it all, the life goal for me is always the same: making it as happy ride as it can be.
