About Jun Feng

Trained as a clinical doctor in China and PhD at Canada, I had over 6 years of clinical practice in China and have more than 20 year experience in cardiovascular and metabolic research. My work has been focused on translational and clinical research and drug development in cardiovascular and related metabolic diseases, such as ischemic heart diseases, diabetics-induced heart and vascular diseases, hypertension and obesity. Published over ninety original research articles in top-ranking biomedical journals, served as peer-reviewer and commentator for top-ranking biomedical journals. Frequently invited to present in locally, nationally and internationally scientific meetings. Served as PI or Co-PI, Co-investigators for several NIH and AHA and stated-funded grants,Managed several translational and clinical-research-projects-Managed the lab, directed, and taught postdoctoral fellows, medical students and technicians in performing research. Excellent interpersonal communication and information management skills-Expert skill in facilitating/optimizing the contribution of diverse team members as individuals and as a team. Excellent scientific written and verbal communication skills with English and Chinese.
