About Jun Kinoshita

Japan-based Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Cornell MBA (Investment Banking Immersion) with over 10 years of experience in M&A advisory and financial due diligence (FDD) for private equity and corporate clients. I have led and executed more than 100 financial due diligence and advisory projects for global and domestic investors, covering middle-market transactions (enterprise value ¥1–100B). My expertise includes buy-side and sell-side due diligence, valuation, carve-outs, and post-merger integration (PMI). Previously, I worked at PwC Advisory LLC, leading M&A and financial due diligence engagements for both domestic and cross-border deals. As a Scholarship Recipient of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA), I pursued my MBA at Cornell University, where I completed the Investment Banking Immersion Program and also interned at Bank of America Japan as a Summer Associate, focusing on M&A advisory and financial modeling. In addition to my advisory work, I serve as a Committee Member for Japan’s National Tax Accountant Examination, contributing to the governance of one of Japan’s most prominent national qualification systems. I have also acted as a Board Member for a Japan-listed company, where I participated in a special committee for a going-private (TOB) transaction to ensure fairness and protect shareholder interests. Furthermore, I am a Board Director and Founding Member of a Fintech startup developing a cloud-based corporate valuation platform.
