About Jun Okawa

I have built a long, broad and deep experience in marketing and communication since I joined Dentsu in 1992. As I worked in a variety of roles at Dentsu, this gave me the opportunity to deal with a wide range of industries including FMCG(especially Drink category and Toiletry category), Fashion, Retail, Softwear, Entertainment etc. I have supported the sports drink brand to become No.1 brand in Japan and also supported Japanese Fashion company to become global player, and also helped to start the business in Japan for global online storage service provider and global online subscribed music service provider. I also have experienced to plan Mid-term Business Strategy in Corporate Strategy Division and led to promote the company's innovation. Since 2016, I have challenged new journey in global. I got transferred Singapore as regional account director. I have managed the client account in APAC market(Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and India) And I run the company in Thailand since 2019 as Vice president to promote the transformation. I was also in charge of the director for JCC (Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok) to have strong relationship with top management of Japanese company, Government office etc. I was a graduate of Waseda Univesity with Science Bachelor's degree focused in Mathematics, especially Game theory.
