About Junaid Manjra

Whilst gaining vital international retail experience from working and living in the Middle East, I am currently leading the Convenience Retail team across the UK and Europe. As the lead, my dynamic role demands quick, efficient and productive strategies in order to deliver the company's vision and objectives. Within my scope is the pricing, margin achievement, forecasting fixed revenues, looking at key retail trends in order to grow revenues, ranges, assortments, planning of marketing and promotions, working alongside world leading brands, in the role of a franchisee and the overall delivery of a consistent, flawless and streamlined European Retail programme. During my former years, I worked as the Franchise Operations Manager at Euro Garages Ltd. in Blackburn, UK. I have managed various projects with the biggest achievement being the acquisition of the first Starbucks Drive Thru franchise licence in Europe. I played an integral role in the construction, project management and opening of multiple Starbucks Drive Thru stores having successfully negotiated licensed agreements with multiple franchises and have overseen the building and completion of these projects. I am well versed in procurement and supplier negotiation as well as maintaining build budgets and consistently meeting tight deadlines. Within the company, I endeavour to implement new procedures and practises to improve operations and increase overall company efficiency. Over the years, I have travelled a great deal and am fluent in many languages including English, Urdu, Hindi and Gujarati with a basic fluency in Arabic. I am highly adaptable to new environments and situations and am always working towards integrating myself fully into different communities.
