Movin' with June!' I have been teaching this eclectic modified aerobics and strength training class for fifteen years, four of them in the Presott area, to seniors and students with special needs. My favorite venue is the Adult Center on Rosser Street in Prescott, because the staff there are wonderful, the energy is positive, and they have a floating floor, so much easier on the back. Just came back after a month out of town, the longest I have been away- only took two weeks off for a hip replacement, my personal proof that moving really works! Hoping I will not only get all my former classmates back but also recruit new ones- if in doubt try it out! This is a friendly, fun class. Lots of positive feedback, from feeling happier, being able to do more things, to enjoying the music and making new friends. All fitness levels are welcome: there is no competition, only support for each other and a lot of camaraderie. The best part is that you just pay for one class at a time, no commitment to a course, and then you come when you can. If you have Silver Sneakers, Silver and Fit or Opum, the classes are free.
