About June Sked

From completing a BA Hons Degree in fashion textiles, I went on to gain valuable retail management experience, and merchandising skills with Next Retail Ltd. Later working in the family business I gained experience in sales and marketing, selling products through our shops and online platform. I have always been interested in health and fitness, and on many occasions this has given me the endurance and tenacity to overcome challenges, and to keep motivated. I work well as part of a team, but also since the Pandemic i had the self-discipline to work remotely from home. I have been engaged in excellent training in customer service, and developed strong customer care skills in all my varied roles. I thoroughly enjoy and feel confident interacting with businesses, customers and members of the public by email, telephone or face to face. I have used systems including NetSuite, Teams, Outlook, ACT and Jira. In the Corporate Pensions industry I was in a head office setting in a busy call centre environment assisting with workplace pensions, but most recently I have been again in a busy call centre but in the health and diagnostics industry, working with NHS locations. In both of these aforementioned roles attention to detail and a true empathetic accurate response was paramount. Due to changes within LumiraDx Care Solutions I was recently made redundant, and I am now working on my landscape paintings, and looking forward to the next exciting chapter. I hope to start a new role utilising my strong telephony and customer service skills.
