About June Steckler
June Steckler is an intuitive painter of abstract, nature inspired artwork. While her style varies, the through line is consistent: all things botanical, from the out-of-doors, and how she both sees and feels light are her constant muse. Born and raised amongst the blues and greens of the Pacific Northwest, Steckler went east to New York for college and graduated with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree before working as a graphic designer in New York, Washington D.C, Nashville and Los Angeles. For the last 20 years, she has made her home in the more rural surrounds of Northern California and is daily inspired by the intense beauty of the Sierra Nevada foothills. In addition to her own art practice, Steckler works as an art consultant, collaborating with interior designers, developers and architects to create unique and meaningful spaces. Steckler offers many options to collect her work, from one-of-a-kind original paintings to high quality giclée prints to custom commissioned pieces. She welcomes studio visitors and online inquiries.
