About Jung Choi

I hold a degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University of São Paulo and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the same institution, specializing in Machine Learning for Computer Vision—with a focus on medical imaging and 3D reconstruction through Electrical Impedance Tomography. My research has been recognized as one of the top student-led projects at a major academic conference.I have authored four conference papers on image reconstruction and segmentation using both deep learning techniques and classical methods. My undergraduate thesis, which integrates CFD modeling with generative neural networks for predictive analysis, is a finalist for the Best Undergraduate Engineering Project of 2024.In addition, I was the winner of an international hackathon organized by Huawei, where I developed a natural language processing and machine learning model, earning a USD award.I’m passionate about engineering, artificial intelligence, and software development, and I continuously seek to deepen my expertise and contribute to impactful, multidisciplinary innovations.
