About Juno Nelson

One morning as a child, I raced out into my living room. Under a neatly decorated tree rested some pleasantly wrapped boxes. My parents followed behind and gave me a simple command - open them. I knew which one I would start with, as I memorized the box shape. It was the model space shuttle I so desperately wanted. Since my earliest years, this fascinated me. The thought of massive vehicles lifting off into the atmosphere was amazing. But what struck me most was not their dazzling majesty, but how they could possibly achieved these feats. I would spend my mornings before school watching documentaries about these beasts. I wanted to unravel their secrets. I needed to know how every system worked. I needed to know how I could make them myself. Hello, I am Juno. I could akin my younger self most to that one kid in grade school that always had a fun fact. Throw in frequent tracking of the moon during day and playing with mechanisms to figure out their function to get little-me. As of now, a few things have changed. I am now at the first stages of my career, and yet I have a long track ahead of me. I continue to use that knowledge-thirsty spirit from my formative years to drive me deeper into engineering, and strive to help design what will deliver humanity into the future.
