Designing like solving a math problem gives me infinite pleasure, especially when I get all the optimal answers and choose one calmly.""A process to find the balance between the sensible and the reason" is my understanding of architecture design. The reason for the objective existence, such as site, user, climate, logically gives me thousand of design possibilities. At the same time, as a designer, the sensibility drives me to figure out the unique one from these products of logic."Design objectively and decide subjectively" is my design philosophy. When I just start "communicate" with architecture in my first year, I was surprised by Zaha Hadid's crazy designs. When I was ignorant about the so-called "parametric design", although I did not know how to achieve it, it left a small seed in my heart. What made this seed germinate was the second year project­"School Design", briefly, it was a tangle about how to arrange several "circles". When I accidentally used the tangent of circles and genetic algorithm in mathematics theory to finally get the optimal solution for it, I began to understand what parametric design is and appreciated its charm, and conducted research and prac­tice in the following two years of study. ln the whole process of learning and practice, I understand that parametric design is not equal to "crazy form". The essence of it is to use logic to make relationship between different elements happen and influence, and finally affect the design. At the same time, luckily, through traveling and visiting architectures in the worldwide, I also gradually understand the importance of people's subjective emotions to architecture. Therefore, today I am no longer talking about "parametric design" by itself, nor am I designing just to' the sake of designing, but "Design objectively and decide subjectively"
