About Junya Hatanaka

I worked as a technical sales for 6 years and as a R&D and project manager of novel technology in health food ingredients and food additive field for 8 years in Yokohama Oils & Fats. These career would differentiate me for “scientific business parson”. During this period I got Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences about development of nutraceutical emulsion formulation with increased bioavailability. In Yokohama Oils & Fat, I mainly developed emulsion formulation for beverage and cosmetic ingredients, and also lead novel formulation projects through collaboration with universities and research institutes. In CP Kelco, I had some new career about hydrocolloid field with emulsion supervision. In San-Ei Gen FFI, I was responsible for novel formulation techniques for solubilization and improvement of bioavailability of poorly soluble nutraceuticals. Now I'm responsible for development of liquid filled hard capsule formulation for Lonza in Japan. It’s also based on liquid formulation technology such as emulsification, suspension, oleo chemical and hydrocolloid. I’m really enjoying develop novel capsules formula we’ve never seen. During my career I've been author of 7 articles and investor of 7 patents about formulation technology.
