About Juraj Sido

Hello there! When I was 4 years old, I learned how to fold my clothes neatly. When I was 6 years old, I had my own set of house keys and walked to school alone. When I was 8 years old, I could make myself simple meals on the stove and once I turned 14, I worked every summer. My average travel time to and from school was 1.5 hrs each way, every day, in any weather, until my University graduation. In other words, I grew up as a regular Czechoslovakian kid, and jumping through hoops and hurdles was the status quo. Thats why in Agile environment I feel more comfortable. Thanks to the European exchange programs I was able to combine hard-tech eastern educational system with soft-skill creative western one, studying to earn masters both in Spain and in Slovakia. I had my first job experience as Junior Engineer at Biogas plant and Wastewater treatment plant. After earning my Masters degree in chemical engineering in 2018, I moved to Spain permanently where I was hired as a Product development engineer for the Technical department at Rosich & Puigdengolas. I research and design new polymer prototypes for mainly aviation, automotive industry. Gradually I was entrusted with managing 5 biggest account of the company and supervising a Laboratory team, being a Head of Quality through whole supply chain. After discovering that one of my biggest strengths is key account relationship building and making strategic decisions with limited resources, I decided to expand my education by graduating with MBA - Master of Business Administration. After almost 5 years I took the opportunity to move to business branch of Stahl. I currently work as an account manager where I help my client to get where they want to go, through innovation and product development. Also, in charge of exploring new business opportunities. I am also studying German language. I am a polyglot and speak 4 other languages.(proficient in Spanish, English, Slovak, Czech; Russian - A1). Interests: spending quality time with my loved ones, studying, reading, exercising, playing a guitar and socialising. I am a science and modern history buff, an early bird. I finished every book I ever started, even if I didn’t like it. I believe that every problem and every mistake is an opportunity to grow. Everything important I have ever learned in my life and how to approach it when the storm comes, has been thanks to the values and love that I have received from my mother, my grandmother and my sister. The three strongest women I know.
