I am a highly experienced Senior Product and Programme Management Professional, with more than twenty-five years’ expertise gained working internationally in leadership roles: helping make commercial and operational ambitions a practical reality. As you might expect, I have strong project and corporate governance capabilities, combined with advanced strategic planning and roadmapping skills: delivering complex digital transformation projects on time, within budget, and to specification: I have become a reliable and trusted adviser at board level.In recognition of these personal qualities and depth of experience, I have been appointed to a number of board level positions: Chair of the Board of Trustees at Visualise Scotland from 2022, Interim Product Director and Commercial Director with LAF.Space from 2019 to 2021, and Advisory Board Member with the Office of Government Commerce (Buying Solutions) and Procurement Scotland from 2007 to 2009.In terms of Strategic Delivery, with Civica (as Digital Transformation Programme Lead from June to October 2021), I brought added focus to a self avowedly dysfunctional, governmental organisation by developing a complex programme of digital transformation: embedding the concept of multi functional service delivery and insightfully overhauling corporate strategy with full traceability; and as a Consultant with a Metropolitan Council from 2007 to 2009, I played an integral role in delivery of multi function devices, commercial print capability and infrastructure: successfully marshalling stakeholder engagement, including buy in and support from seven different Directorates, and producing a streamlined procurement process with multiple cost savings and added efficiencies.As Product and Commercial Director with LAF.Space from 2019 to 2021, I successfully converted a small lost property app into a flexible asset management and tracing tool: opening up new market verticals and engaging with new customer groupings, providing this start up company with a sustainable platform for profitable growth; programme managed all D2C platform build and modifications on behalf of Santander Bank (as Programme Director with FNZ from 2017 to 2018): securing full regulatory compliance with MiFID II requirements and GDPR; and took full ownership of platform build and modifications for FNZ’s Standard Life Wealth Management account.I would gladly consider any UK based NED role that could utilise my skills and experience.To find out more send me an InMail or contact me at jjta68@gmail.com
