With eleven years of experience in the customer service industry, three years dedicated to social media, digital marketing, and sales in a non-profit organization, and currently being in my fourth year at Memorial University studying business administration, I am continuing my well-rounded skill set that blends practical experience with academic knowledge. I have developed a deep understanding of customer behavior, needs, and expectations. For the past three years, I have been deeply involved in social media, digital marketing, and sales through a non-profit organization called Mike's Crew NL. This role has been particularly meaningful as it combines my professional skills and my passion for on-ice officiating. I have been responsible for creating and executing digital marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, and driving sales for fundraising events. One of my significant accomplishments in this role was leading a social media campaign that raised over in two hockey seasons for first-year ice hockey officials. This campaign not only increased our visibility online but also engaged the community in a cause that was close to our hearts. My experience in this role has also expanded my knowledge of sales techniques. I have successfully negotiated partnerships with local businesses to sponsor our events and secured donations that significantly contributed to our fundraising goals. Currently, I am in my fourth year at Memorial University, pursuing a degree in business administration. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in various business disciplines, including finance, marketing, and organizational behavior. The coursework has been instrumental in enhancing my analytical and critical thinking skills, which I apply in both my professional and personal life.
