About Justin Beaupre

I am an assistant professor, health service and population health researcher, and a certified athletic trainer. I've earned advance training in epidemiology for public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a strong emphasis on professional epidemiological methods and social epidemiology. My research interests are focused on health disparities and inequities that occur in socially and economically disadvantaged communities and populations. I teach courses in healthcare delivery, epidemiology, and population health at the graduate level. As an Athletic Trainer by trade, I am interested in the intersection of Athletic Training and Population Health and how we can integrate population health principles and practices into clinical practice to reduce high and inefficient health care utilization among patients.
