I’m seeking a Senior Scientist or Research & Development Specialist role at biotechnology companies and am the perfect fit for these roles because I have the following skills: stem cell research, research and development, metabolic disorders, organoid and 3D cell culture, project management, team collaboration, SOP development, data analysis, presentation and reporting skills. I have leveraged my skills to drive innovation and create new methods and technologies leveraging expertise in cell-based assays, stem cell, and organoid characterization, as evidenced by creating 4 novel organoid models. As a process optimization expert, I have validated organoids and characterized them with RT-qPCR, immunofluorescence, and transmission electron microscopy and provided evidence of liver organoid model that completely recapitulated that of the native tissue. I have also demonstrated my ability to manage projects and priorities by managing 3 projects simultaneously, involving the characterization of intestinal organoids, troubleshooting cellular-based assays associated with liver organoids, and the isolation, and differentiation of stem cells from primary liver tissue. In addition, I have the following qualifications: Cross-functional collaborator with expertise in liver cell biology and organoids to lead projects in the pathological consequences of obesity, oxidative stress, and aging as evidenced by 4 collaborations over 3 years including 1 with Fauna Bio. Project management expertise gained while leading the development, characterization, and functionalization of organoids and mammalian model systems as evidenced by 4 optimized methodologies including protocols for stem cell differentiation. Flexible and versatile researcher with experience utilizing metabolic analysis to understand metabolism in novel kidney and liver organoid models as evidenced by 2 experiments untangling metabolic fuel use during a perturbation.
