Taking up my lifelong hobby of IT as a career after more than ten years in the Education Sector including four and a half years teaching English as a foreign language in China, more than three years administrating and negotiating Pathways Agreements for Victoria University and almost two years providing administrative and program support for the Centre for China Studies and Confucius Institute at La Trobe University. To assist in this I'm undertaking a Diploma of IT Networking with the Computer Power Institute and so far have completed training relevant to Network+, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 as well as modules on copyright, ethics, privacy, systems analysis and the Group Development Project. After almost two years' experience in service desk operations, I still gain satisfaction of delivering support, building relationships and confidence in in the role of service desk analyst
