About Justin Dodd

I have close to twenty years of experience in a distribution center / warehouse environment, seven of those years as a Supervisor, and five as a Manager. I have extensive experience with multiple warehouse management systems, and I'm an expert in the practical application and configuration of them. I have led teams as large as 100, consisting of a mixture of permanent and temporary staff in fast-paced distribution centers, working under tight deadlines. I have excellent problem-solving skills and have extensive experience investigating inventory issues. I am very technically inclined, and have expert-level knowledge of Excel, as well as the other applications that are part of the MS Office suite, and have created spreadsheets and macros that increased the accuracy of payroll and productivity tracking at my previous employers. I have also used these skills to add functionality to warehouse management systems that was not offered, or was prohibitively expensive, from the vendor. In addition to my technical skills, I feel that my experience managing multi-client operations, has given me a knowledge base suitable to a wide variety of operations. I also have experience fostering positive relationships with clients as I interacted closely with customers and executives at most of my previous positions. I have been successful earning the confidence of both customers and colleagues through honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to fully understand and then improve upon the current state.
