About Justin Doyle

I am dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their full potential through a strength-based and person-centred approach. By integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy methodologies, I tailor my interventions to meet each person where they are, facilitating the achievement of their desired goals. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier, Bachelor of Social Work, Honor Bachelor Arts degrees in both History and Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo, in addition, an advanced diploma in Child and Youth Work from Mohawk College. Over the course of the last decade, I have worked extensively with youth and young adults in a variety of settings. I have experience in the school system, group homes, telemedicine and treatment-based institutions with dual diagnosed youth aged 10 to 19. My primary focus has been to cultivate an individual’s ability to develop their social skills and teach positive coping mechanisms to help them thrive within their daily lives. Bringing empathy to the forefront in counselling approach, I have also worked with academic institutions to drive progression in their diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. As an advocate for improving disability rights and policies through research and personal experience, I am keenly aware of the barriers a person with a disability has to overcome to achieve their goals.
