Talented and dedicated Counseling professional with background in written/oral communication, case management, assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and program direction pursuing opportunities to participate in clinical research and expand the awareness and reach of this innovative first episode psychosis program in the Tulsa area. I have a passion for making connections with people, working in the community, humanmade and natural systems, rhythm in its many expressions, and promoting program sustainability. If I were to pursue a doctorate, my primary focus would be language and communication. Specialties: I have several years of experience working in community mental health care with people in acute crisis, others with chronic or early-onset mental illness, and many with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. My current position at Family & Children's Services focuses on developing and directing a community-based first episode psychosis program called NAVIGATE.
