About Justin Giffee

I am a recent graduate of Fordham University with passions for energy policy, sustainability, and electric grid innovations. During my senior year, I conducted research on issues related to the American electric grid system for my thesis project. As part of my research, I proposed solutions that aim to effectively decarbonize the American electric grid system while simultaneously restructuring national energy markets. After my education and thesis work, I plan to pair my interests in sustainability and economics towards a greater purpose in solving problems associated with climate change. I have a keen interest in world affairs, leading me to experiences abroad in Beijing, China, Dublin, Ireland, and London, England. During my study abroad experience in Spring 2022, I had the privilege of gaining valuable insights into efforts undertaken by several European countries to address pressing challenges of climate change. Data analysis and research, effective time management, organization and administrative work, customer service, relationship building, and mandarin language-are skillsets where I have experience. I enjoy working on teams and collaborating on projects with others. Outside of school, I pursue visual arts, fashion, and powerlifting interests.
