Background
About Justin Hubbard
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset. Back in elementary and middle school, I collected baseball cards, traded them, and even sold some at local trade shows and then online. Around the same time, I was cutting lawns, pulling weeds, raking leaves, and shoveling snow—anything to make a few bucks. In middle school, I sold burned CDs to classmates, and by high school, I was flipping whatever I could on eBay. By college, I was reselling sneakers and doing some retail arbitrage for classmates, thanks to our proximity to the tax-free haven across the New Hampshire border. Toward the end of college, I launched an online consignment store, selling unwanted items for friends and referrals, splitting the revenue. When that didn’t scale as planned, I pivoted and started a smartphone buyback business called “e-resell.com.” I bought broken phones, refurbished them, and resold them online. Using digital ads, I was able to acquire customers, but once industry giants entered the scene, I knew I had to pivot. In 2012, I launched Hubbard Business Solutions, helping small businesses grow with practical advice and mentorship. By 2014, I co-founded Grizzly Junk Pros, which has grown to serve over customers with a fleet of 8 trucks. I also created The Grizzly Bag, a heavy-duty dumpster bag used nationwide. As Grizzly Junk Pros grew, I saw opportunities to branch out. In 2016, I launched Gutter Pros, which saw significant growth and was acquired by a national company in 2019. Around that same time, I founded New Life Warehouse, a project close to my heart that focuses on repurposing quality items to reduce landfill waste. Over the years, I’ve learned that it’s not about reinventing the wheel or chasing world-changing ideas. I believe small businesses do best when tapping into proven markets where money is already being spent—creating a better mousetrap by rethinking the value proposition. In January 2024, I started HaulingHubb.com, a free community for small haulers. The lack of connection for the little guys—compared to the big corporate events—made me realize they needed a space to connect. In July 2024, after hearing how haulers had been taken advantage of by big agencies, I launched Adimize.com, a digital ad (anti) agency for the service industry. In just three months, I signed 30 haulers. Having scaled my own service business, I knew it was time to help others grow too.
