Hello! I'm Justin, a Cybersecurity Analyst working at Hitachi Energy! I've got a background in Software Engineering but am excited to stretch my knowledge and challenge myself in a field new to me! Before my role at Hitachi Energy I was an intern at Infosys Ltd. and part-time employee at Cummins Inc. Between those roles I've had the chance to engage in a variety of unique and engaging work. At Infosys I got the opportunity to work with a team and contribute to the API for their internal job posting application. This opportunity gave me hands-on experience working with REST APIs that follow industry-standard specifications. At Cummins I had the privilege of supporting the Cummins Engineering eTools team by preparing, testing, and supporting their embedded computer systems for remote testing. Outside of work, I am an avid traveler with a deep appreciation for different cultures. Having lived in England and South Africa, interned in India, and studied abroad in Spain, I have had the immense privilege of immersing myself in diverse environments, expanding my global perspective. Engaging with and learning about other cultures is something I value greatly and intend to continue throughout my life. A major driving force of mine is the thrill of tackling complex problems and finding elegant, and sometimes inelegant, effective solutions. I thrive on such challenges and find great satisfaction in the entire problem-solving process. In my career, I strive to leverage this drive and continuously challenge myself to be better than yesterday.
