Background

About Justin Lawrence

I am a graduating marketing student from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and I am looking to make connections both online and in person with people that are willing to share information related to marketing positions, climbing the ladder, and where to start. I have always been someone who believes that every situation is an opportunity to better myself and learn from past experiences. I have been eager and willing to take on the world and make my own mistakes that will teach me more than set rules and guidelines on what to do and when to do it. I am somebody that likes to learn by doing, and there is no better day to start than today. When presented with a challenge, I like to jump right in and assess every aspect of the situation to decide what has to be done to reach the desired goal in a timely manner. I am usually very well organized and approach things with a blend of systematic thinking along with an abstract mindset that is open to possibilities of new and unique ways of solution finding. I am somebody that is willing to take risks, and travel routes that nobody has searched before. Last spring break for instance, I traveled to Silicon Valley in San Francisco, CA to visit Twitter, Facebook, and Google Headquarters to interview department heads for information about who gets the job, and how they go about doing so. I like to try to stand out where I can, in ways that others do not. I have a passion for striving for something better and I am always looking for the next best thing. I work hard and push for my efforts to bring me where I want to be.
