About Justin Lopez

My journey with FUTEK began as a summer intern, where I gained hands-on experience with precision sensor technology and was exposed to cross-functional collaboration efforts. I transitioned into a part-time role during my final year at Cal Poly Pomona and joined full-time after graduating with my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. As an Application Engineer, I assist our customers with sensor selection and integration for applications across aerospace, MedTech, robotics, and automation. I've also supported the RMA department by helping assess damaged units and determining appropriate repair solutions. In addition, I collaborate with the marketing team to create technical articles and educational content for our website.Since passing the FE Exam in 2024, I'm preparing to pursue my PE license to deepen my technical qualifications and take on greater responsibilities in the future. I’m focused on expanding my expertise in sensor applications and contributing to projects that demand technical precision and deliver meaningful impact.
