Background
About Justin Maynard
Creating the Bitter Sweet Acres Farm where we specialize in orchard fruits, honey and maple syrup from the ground up while focusing on the ecological restoration efforts of the property has led me to return to academia where I am currently pursuing my Masters degree. It has not been an easy to balance the wildlife and anthropogenic interests here but the property is richer in biological diversity than it was before and the previous eroding landscape more stabile than ever after the streambank restoration I managed was performed. Using diverse skillsets that were gained while building and renovating homes has provided me exceptional experience to coordinate projects with engineers and town permitting officials. Bringing together academic excellence, extensive professional experience and a diverse skillset has made the projects I manage run smoothly whether it is for building construction or ecological restorations.
