Computational biologist driven to tackle the toughest challenges available. I have spent the last three years working to implement chemical genomics with proteinopathy screening in order to discover novel targets in neurodegenerative disease using a model organism. The methods I developed led to the discovery of targets missed using conventional methods for Parkinson's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. I was able to support and derisk the development of these targets by adopting a single cell RNA sequencing pipeline. Finally, I was able to support our clinical programs by supporting potential novel indications for our targets and by using lipidomics to search for potential biomarkers for in vivo target engagement. I am looking forward to tackling the next challenges that are available.
