About Justin Patten

I believe that knowledge, passion, integrity, attention to detail, and being a solutions seeker have played a large part of my success on a personal and professional level. I strive to be a good listener, care for others, and inspire others to live to their greatest potential. I believe that that "work" is not work if you find a way to love what you do. I started my career 17 years ago in the auto industry where found my passion for selling and learned the importance of practicing ethical sales practices. During my 5 years, all at the same dealership, I earned several certifications, awards and lead the sales boards many times. This was also my first opportunity to put my love of data analysis to use while creating our weekly ads and to shadow and provide training to new hires, which I found very rewarding. Next, I spent 3 years with Life Time Fitness. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn from phenomenal leaders as a Membership Advisor. I became a Senior Membership Advisor though surpassing membership and fitness package sales quotas while passing fitness knowledge exams. I earned the Century Club Award in Jan '09, achieved 119% of my'08 sales quota and 139 % of '07's sales quota. I had the highest personal training sales for 19 consecutive months. I learned a lot at Minnesota School of Business where I was a Recruiter. I was responsible for the enrollment and start of new students while facilitating the financial aid, registration and orientation process. It was rewarding to help students attain education goals and career planning. I spent 7 years with SlimGenics, where I was a sales leader, employee of the year and promoted several times. I started as a Center Manager, became a Trainer, Area Sales Manager, Area Director, opened a new market and became Training Director for all 34 locations across 3 states. You name it, I probably did it! I recruited, hired, coached, did schedules, grew revenue and other KPI's. The best part? Helping staff and clients succeed. I recently returned to Slimgenics after a short break and am thoroughly enjoying working with clients and staff again!
