As a Supervisory Deputy IT Product Line Manager, I supervise a staff of nine employees. I create an environment for product line success through leveraging oral communication and written communication. I work with the teams to employ a variety of tools and methodologies such as Scaled Agile and Program Increment planning, rugged computing concepts to ensure security and 508 compliance. Further, leveraging concepts from the DevOps community as put forward by Gene Kim and the IT Revolution community. Furthermore, using best practices as identified in the Toyota Production System to leverage Kanban, just to name a few. As a Project/Product Manager I have extensive knowledge and understanding of how to evaluate the integration of the requirements development. I work with teams to ensure that we have well-written, well-documented requirements that allow the team to have the proper foundation for success. I am certified as a contracting officer representative and have a thorough understanding of costing as well as pricing and the acquisition process. Allowing me to communicate and defend the acquisition approach before decision makers and stakeholders; As a project management professional, I am expertly trained to use earned value management as it relates to acquisition-related investments. Further, I maintain the budgeting and governance processes, and apply comprehensive risk management planning, accounting for the scale of complexity between projects and programs. As a certified mentor, I mentor, lead and influence subordinate-level and peer-level team members in managing the projects. I have managed moderate to high-risk projects that require significant investment and agency knowledge and experience. I report product line results, conduct strategic planning, and high-level communication with internal and external stakeholders using a variety of tools.
